Cardinal Lanes gives away free bowling for a year

Wilmington, NC – Cardinal Lanes has launched Bowl Cardinal, an app devoted to news, specials, and loyalty programs at the alley on October 1, 2013. As part of the launch, two winners of a pre-launch text message campaign won up to three games of open bowling per day for an entire year.
Sheeri Hightower and Eric Mallow each entered the contest by giving Cardinal Lanes permission to send SMS coupons to their phones along with hundreds of others between July and September. Winners were picked at random and announced in conjunction with the app release.
When Mallow was notified that he had won, he replied “That is awesome. Never won anything before.”
The new app was designed by local startup JVI Mobile Marketing, and is designed to allow bowlers insider access to specials, win free bowling for loyalty, submit fun bowling alley related photos and more. It also contains information about upcoming leagues.
